Responsibilities
Conduct construction phase testing and inspection of structural steel and welding at various client sites
Perform non-destructive testing utilizing Ultrasonic Testing methods
Inspect timber framing installations
Assist with other special inspections as needed; and
Travel to project sites as required
Qualification
Required
American Welding Society - Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required
Non-destructive testing proficiency in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) required
Timber framing inspection experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Comfortable working at heights
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Preferred
Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation
Prior experience with structural steel construction and fabrication
ICC Bolting/Welding Certification
UT Inspector Certification
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
ACI, AASHTO, or ICC certifications
