Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Ensure timely reporting to executive leadership and external stakeholders

Direct and manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes to maintain healthy cash flow and vendor relationships

Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies

Provide actionable insights and recommend corrective measures to improve performance and mitigate risks

Responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring the annual budget process to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives

Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies and internal controls

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Identify and implement methods to improve efficiency and scalability

Leverage our financial system and emerging AI tools to optimize workflows and reporting

Manage sales tax operations, filings, and ensure accurate reporting and timely payments across multiple states

Oversee annual state filings and maintain compliance with all jurisdictions

Ensure accurate payroll reporting and compliance with applicable laws

Required

Experience in leading accounting operations and ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial activities

Ability to oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Experience in timely reporting to executive leadership and external stakeholders

Experience in directing and managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes

Ability to analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies

Experience in providing actionable insights and recommending corrective measures to improve performance and mitigate risks

Experience in developing, managing, and monitoring the annual budget process

Ability to develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies and internal controls
