Business Development Representative – Commission-Based (USA-Based)

TellCo Europe is a leading innovator in solar energy solutions, and they are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging with stakeholders in the U.S. defense community, and securing B2B partnerships for their products.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential clients and opportunities within the U.S. defense sector, institutional clients, and B2B partners
Develop and prepare customized pitches and presentations for both defense-sector clients and institutional buyers, as well as B2B companies
Engage with key stakeholders in defense institutions, the Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Armed Forces, and other government agencies, as well as businesses and organizations across various sectors
Identify, pursue, and secure relevant funding and partnership opportunities, including programs related to defense and sustainability
Manage and update the CRM database, tracking interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups with prospects
Actively represent TellCo Europe at industry events, summits, and networking opportunities across the U.S., building connections and expanding the company's presence
Explore and establish new B2B opportunities, building relationships with companies interested in integrating our solar-powered solutions into their operations
Contribute to internal reports with insights, recommendations, and strategies to expand TellCo Europe’s reach within both the defense sector and the broader institutional and business landscape in the U.S

Required

Graduated from a university program in International Relations, Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields
Strong interest in defense/security, renewable energy, and institutional sales or B2B partnerships
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages such as French, Spanish, or German are a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable using CRM systems
Highly proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with senior-level professionals and potential clients across various sectors
