Medasource is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Builder to design, configure, and maintain clinical trial workflows within Meditech Expanse. This role partners closely with clinical research, operations, and IT teams to translate study protocols into accurate, compliant, and efficient EHR builds.

Responsibilities

Translate clinical trial protocols into Meditech Expanse builds

Configure and maintain order sets, documentation templates, flowsheets, research flags, and schedules of events

Build workflows supporting standard-of-care vs. research-only billing

Support adult and pediatric studies, including protocol amendments and new study arms

Test and validate workflows, documentation, and billing logic with clinical, pharmacy, and revenue cycle teams

Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and build documentation

Support reporting needs such as enrollment tracking, patient lists, and audit requests

Required

Meditech Expanse experience in at least two areas: Order sets / dictionaries, Clinical documentation (templates, flowsheets), Workflow configuration / rules

Understanding of clinical research operations, including SOE, study arms, consent/enrollment, and AE/SAE documentation

Working knowledge of research billing compliance (SOC vs sponsor-paid)
