Responsibilities

Assist with purchasing commercial kitchen equipment parts, tools, and supplies

Create, process, and track purchase orders

Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status

Track and follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery

Receive and verify incoming shipments; resolve discrepancies or damaged items

Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and vendor records

Support inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reordering

Coordinate with service technicians and operations staff to prioritize urgent parts needs

Assist with vendor setup, documentation, and invoice reconciliation

Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy

Assist with general administrative duties as needed to support the company’s success

Provide administrative support to other departments, including dispatching, estimates, and customer care

Assist with special projects and operational tasks as assigned

Qualification

Purchasing experienceMS Office SuiteExcel proficiencyInventory managementDetail-oriented

Required

High school diploma/GED or the equivalent

Minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the purchasing field

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills

Aptitude to clarify assigned tasks and expectations and then work independently to complete assignments
