Responsibilities
Conduct daily field inspections for aerial, underground, and fiber splice activities
Confirm construction work aligns with engineering prints, specifications, and safety requirements
Monitor contractor progress and identify issues related to delays, workmanship, or non-compliance
Document field conditions and maintain accurate daily/weekly reports using Microsoft tools
Communicate risks, schedule impacts, and corrective actions to construction leadership
Ensure site adherence to all safety expectations and best practices
Assist with testing, validation, and closeout activities as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of telecommunications industry experience with emphasis on OSP construction
Hands‑on experience with FTTH builds and utility construction methods
Strong ability to interpret engineering designs and construction specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word for reporting and documentation
Effective communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license; regular travel required within project areas
