Responsibilities

Project Contribution: Contribute to a critical project focused on driving savings for the company and maintaining the accuracy of internal records

Research and Information Gathering: Conduct research and gather information, which may include calling vendors to obtain necessary data

Invoice Validation: Contribute to invoice validation efforts to recover free cash flow

Documentation: Document observations and results meticulously to support business operations and decision-making

Data Entry: Assist with accurate and timely data entry into various systems and files

Follow-ups: Stay on top of follow-ups with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks

Compliance: Ensure compliance with established business processes using data from various systems

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field

Successfully competed 2+ semesters in accounting, finance, or a related business field

Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week

Preferred

Strong technical aptitude, particularly in the development of Excel spreadsheets

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication

Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks

Solid work ethic and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work both independently and on team assignments

Prior experience working with JIRA preferred (not required)
