Engineering shift support for manufacturing operations in transmission machining department for gear, case, valve body, and solenoid body machining operations
Support daily machining operations with a focus on gear machining experience
Troubleshoot CNC programming adjustments as necessary
Work with cross functional teams to overcome challenges in the department
Qualification
Required
5 years minimum experience in manufacturing or process engineering
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or technical degrees
Gear manufacturing experience/familiarity
CNC programming experience (ability to read, make adjustments to NC programming)
Basic interpretation of GD&T
Willingness to learn and ability to work with cross functional teams
Active learners, high curiosity, problem solvers, focused on root cause
High optimism, good with dealing with ambiguity
Logical, critical thinker, evidence based approach
High engagement with cross functional team (Production, quality, maintenance)
Preferred
Experience in automotive manufacturing
Experience with broaching, hobbing, gear grinding, face grinding, hard turning operations
