Responsibilities

Leads provider communication strategies for market provider network initiatives and develops supporting collateral (web site content, template notices, communications, training) for market to use to achieve desired result
Supports and trains market Health Partner Managers to ensure plan goals and provider network management strategies are successfully communicated to provider network
Collaborates, as needed, on development of Provider Network Management policies and procedures in conjunction with Health Partner Leadership and Corporate Provider Network Management Communications Director to meet new Medicaid business requirements
Work collaboratively with other Health Partner Managers and areas to assure resources are operating and meeting all compliance and regulatory standards
Oversee the team responsible for assuring communications, web portal, reporting, and provider manuals meet compliance and regulatory requirements
Assists Corporate Provider Network Management Directors and Corporate Provider Network Management Communication Director with identifying trends to improve provider satisfaction and compliance with Plan operations, payment policies, and prior authorization requirements
Collaborates with care management and quality teams regarding enterprise implementation of products and communications related to improved health status of our members, achieving HEDIS measures, NCQA accreditation, and regulatory quality requirements
Maintains positive relationships with the key provider community to include close working relationship and education opportunities with provider associations
Assist by working cross functionally to assure health partner communications and portal messaging is consistent and provides best in class direction for our health partners
Assist with collaborative processes involving a variety of stakeholders, including clinicians/health partners, hospitals, health information exchanges, and vendors to achieve coordination and collaboration with regard to the availability, enhanced functionality, and use of health information exchange (HIE) or other electronic data exchanges

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
A minimum of three (3) years of managed care experience is required with focus on quality and network performance
At least one (1) year of management-level leadership experience preferred
Understanding of health information exchange (HIE) and implementation strategies, issues, challenges, and resources
Comfortable working with diverse organizations and in facilitating solutions to competing priorities and interests while maintaining a balance among stakeholders' needs
Understanding of technology issues, approaches, and resources related to healthcare
Management capabilities in a diverse, multifaceted, operation that serves multiple stakeholders
Strong management, and operations skills with a successful track record of effective project implementation on-time and under budget
Understanding of administrative, technical, and clinical dimensions of health care and how these dimensions inter-relate
Organized, resourceful, and capable of effectively multitasking to ensure competing priorities are addressed in a timely and efficient manner
Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position. CareSource requires annual proof of Influenza vaccination for designated positions during Influenza season (October 1 – March 31) as a condition of continued employment

Preferred

At least one (1) year of management-level leadership experience preferred
Experience with developing training materials, curriculum, training events, and management reporting preferred
