Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise to solve complex radio communication problems

Design, develop, and troubleshoot Motorola MotoTrbo radio systems

Lead engineering studies, including interference and coverage analysis

Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and design plans

Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations, including FCC licensing

Manage and coordinate multiple projects within the Telecommunications department

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years of radio engineering experience (or 10+ years of experience without a degree)

Familiarity with FCC licensing and regulatory requirements

Experience with MS, Excel, and Visio for documentation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience working in the Energy/Utilities industry

Familiarity with intermodular frequency studies

Hands-on experience with radio code plugs and their creation
