Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to the assembly and test team to support production and quality goals
Collaborate with support teams to establish work schedules considering customer requirements, resource availability, and other top priorities
Proactively generate effective solutions for Quality process control and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Support process implementation and refinement activities throughout all process gates
Ensure World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly
Ensure full involvement in CORE continuous improvement initiatives
Utilize CORE tools to improve production, performance, and reduce overall operating cost

Required

Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Business Operations Management, Engineering, Aerospace or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 9+ years of relevant industry experience

Preferred

Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Business or Supply Chain
A&P license
Personnel management experience, particularly supporting a bargaining unit / union workforce
Proven ability to lead mentoring, coaching, developing talent and motivate teams to achieve business goals
Aerospace or equivalent military industry experience
Ability to read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and engineering drawings
Working knowledge of shop practices, quality standards, processes and procedures
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, QCPC and RCCA)
Experience using Microsoft Office, SAP, MRP materials management, and MS Office Suite
Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel and customers
