Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the Tax Department, including oversight of junior tax staff
Conduct and review business, personal, and trust tax filings with precision and compliance
Implement strategic tax planning and forecasting to minimize liabilities and optimize financial performance
Perform quality control checks on all tax work to ensure complete accuracy
Review and interpret financial statements; create, finalize, and file accurate tax forms with the IRS
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license required
Minimum 8 years of professional tax experience
Deep understanding of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation
Experience with tax amendments and strategic tax planning
Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior accountants
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable speaking with executives and high-net-worth clients
Positive, cheerful, and solutions-oriented approach
