Responsibilities
Assist the sales team with technical product selection and preliminary engineering reports
Create custom technical details for pre- and post-award phases
Serve as liaison between the engineering and sales departments
Support continuous improvement of estimating tools
Facilitate change requests, communicating impacts on scope, budget, and schedule
Analyze project documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and codes
Manage HVAC commercial construction projects from initiation through completion
Use pricing schedules and internal tools to develop accurate proposals
Monitor project progress, maintain timelines, and adjust as needed
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to align goals and deliverables
Generate quotes, submittals, and transmittals using internal resources
Conduct job site inspections and provide detailed technical reports
Support strategic sales initiatives and maintain accurate project records
Provide technical training and support to internal teams and customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of experience in commercial construction or HVAC engineering
Skilled in interpreting blueprints and plan drawings
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Inventor is preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
30% to 50% Travel
Preferred
Experience with vibration isolation and seismic/wind restraint is a plus
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
