Responsibilities
Manage multiple large, complex projects by coordinating teams of Senior Project Managers and Project Management Analysts
Support PMO leadership to optimize staffing and resource allocation
Define budgets, staffing models, and business cases
Submit PMA and PM performance assessments for project stages, mid-year, and year-end reviews
Take ownership of challenged projects, providing close supervision and corrective direction
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for project methodologies and financial analytics
Actively mentor Project Managers and PMAs
Lead estimating, scope, risk management, QA reviews, and inspections
Track and report on client satisfaction metrics, statistical analysis, and variance analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
8+ years of IT project management experience, with emphasis on staffing and resource management
Experience managing 30+ FTEs on a single 12+ month project
Experience delivering 5+ large projects with multimillion-dollar labor budgets
Proficiency with PDM and PPMC tools
Strong experience with project performance analytics and reporting
PMP certification or equivalent
Preferred
Electric Operations within a Utility environment
Asset Work Management (Distribution Poles, Transmission Towers, Substations)
Systems experience with SAP PM, SAP EAM, GIS, CC&B, Customer Web Portals, Documentum
Experience supporting EGI programs and electric grid interconnection workflows
Bonus experience with PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, AUD, Estimating Tools, or Substation Design Suite
