Payroll Supervisor

Responsibilities
Work with Corporate IT and Finance to ensure that Kronos is being updated and maintained as required to stay current with needs of Finance and payroll teams
Communicate with DC partners about current wins and opportunities weekly
Solicit feedback from the team on ways to automate many of our manual processes
Support and or train all new Payroll Associates to the team
Contact person for Corporate IT to work with on upgrades, requirements, service pack releases and any other technical support required/needed
Support future growth through training and development and building a bench
Travel as needed to new DCs and or existing DCs to support training, troubleshooting issues and auditing
Roll out new programs/technology as needed. ServiceNow, IVR for sick line, etc
Solicit feedback from DC VPs on reporting to support them and the payroll team (what information they want and cadence). Create reports and provide to business partners as needed
Conduct conference calls and or one on ones with the team to inspire collaboration and two way communication
Attend Production meeting in each DC you are present at daily and provide feedback on current trends and best practices. DC specific stats and analysis
Audit for compliance to Sarbanes/Oxley and all State specific labor laws, etc. CA Meal violations, Kin Care, CA sick time, Double time pay, etc
Conduct IDP meetings with payroll team, deliver focal mid-year and year end, and provide in the moment recognition or constructive feedback as needed
Identify/create reporting and other tools to support efficiency and consistency with processes
Ability to update and create pay rules, schedule groups, and work rules in Kronos

Degree required
Proficient PC Skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
Proven ability to lead and grow a team
Strong communication skills
