Responsibilities

Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of 5–8+ quota-carrying Account Executives
Hire, onboard, and ramp new sellers with a focus on time-to-productivity and quota attainment
Establish a strong operating cadence, including weekly pipeline reviews, deal strategy sessions, and forecast calls
Build an inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with Smarsh values and growth objectives
Own regional performance across Enterprise and Mid-Market segments, with accountability for bookings and pipeline health
Lead greenfield logo acquisition and territory development efforts
Expand into select Emerging Industries where regulatory, compliance, or data governance needs are acute (Healthcare, Technology, Engineering, Energy, Telecom, etc.)
Partner with Marketing and Product to develop vertical-specific ICPs, messaging, and sales plays
Coach teams through multi-stakeholder, multi-threaded sales cycles
Engage directly in high-impact opportunities to accelerate outcomes and model best practices
Champion MEDDPICC to support strong qualification, deal strategy, and risk management
Build trusted relationships with Champions, Economic Buyers, and Executive Sponsors
Establish a culture of disciplined execution, predictable forecasting, and healthy pipeline coverage
Ensure balanced pipeline development across Enterprise and Mid-Market segments
Partner closely with Revenue Operations on territory design, capacity planning, and performance analytics
Leverage data and modern sales tools to improve conversion rates and productivity
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Enablement, and Finance
Provide clear market feedback to inform roadmap, pricing, and packaging decisions
Represent Smarsh in executive briefings, customer meetings, and industry events

Required

10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including 5+ years as a first-line sales leader
Proven success managing Enterprise and/or Mid-Market Account Executives
Track record of building teams, opening new territories, and winning new logos
Experience selling into Financial Services and expanding into adjacent or emerging industries
Track record of strong performance in complex, consultative sales environments
Experience with MEDDPICC or similar enterprise sales methodologies
Familiarity with Salesforce, Clari, 6sense, Highspot, Outreach, Gong, PowerBI, or similar platforms
Passion for coaching, developing, and retaining top sales talent
Strong command of pipeline management, deal strategy, and forecasting discipline
Executive presence with credibility in C-suite and senior buyer conversations
Data-driven mindset with ability to balance speed, focus, and quality decisions
Deep understanding of enterprise sales motions and value-based selling
Willingness to travel as needed to support customers and team execution
