Construction
Responsibilities
Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements against the appropriate purchase order
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Generate reports detailing accounts payable status
Record expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
Execute daily processes and controls while ensuring compliance with accounts payable and company processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Knowledge of SAP
