Senior Manager, Finance
OPIE Software is a SaaS-based software company, and they are seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to lead the financial strategy, operations, and reporting functions. This role involves managing end-to-end finance, including forecasting, cash flow management, and KPI tracking, while building scalable processes to support future growth.

Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting oversight, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Develop and maintain financial models aligned with company strategy, SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, CLV, churn, gross margin), and growth objectives
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, providing business insights to leadership
Manage cash flow planning, working capital optimization, and scenario modeling for funding and capital decisions
Provide management oversight for G&A and Financial Operations team members
Oversee HR-related functions including payroll, benefits administration, ERISA requirements, performance management, and talent acquisition
Partner with department heads to analyze performance against budget and recommend course corrections
Lead financial due diligence, reporting, and executive-level presentations
Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure compliance
Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support company growth
Support strategic initiatives such as pricing optimization, financial analysis, and contract structuring
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA, MFA, or CPA preferred)
7+ years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in SaaS, technology, or subscription-based businesses
Strong command of GAAP, financial modeling, forecasting, and performance metrics
Proficiency with modern finance tools such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Power BI, and Excel
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Proven experience leading budgeting and reporting functions in $5–25M revenue organizations
Ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for non-financial leaders
Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Hands-on mentality with comfort managing details while driving strategic discussions
