This strategic, data-driven position is responsible for delivering deep market insights and analytics to enhance procurement decision-making and support category strategy.

Responsibilities
Developing and managing procurement dashboards
Conducting predictive analytics on supplier and market performance
Synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable insights
Preparing deep-dive position and strategy papers
Leading spend analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, and should-cost analysis
Providing insights on industry trends, supplier markets, commodity pricing, and geopolitical factors
Supporting ad hoc analyses related to electric procurement issues
Making executive-level presentations to drive director-level decision-making
Serving as liaison to key stakeholders on procurement market intelligence and analytics
Acting as an internal expert to develop and manage complex market intelligence and analytics programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Strong background in procurement analytics, market intelligence, and strategic sourcing
Expertise in data visualization tools, AI-driven analytics, and market trend forecasting
Experience with market intelligence platforms such as Beroe, Gartner, and Bloomberg
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Experience with procurement/ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba)
Preferred
Advanced degree
10+ years in Procurement, Procurement Analytics, Market Intelligence, or related fields
Strategic sourcing and/or category management experience
Experience in global procurement with awareness of supplier markets and geopolitical influences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication to diverse audiences
Broad industry and market expertise
In-depth knowledge of CAISO tariffs and organized electric markets
Ability to work independently on complex projects
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or acting as a team lead
