Responsibilities
Leads Facility to ensure KPIs are met; facility Performance, Equipment Storage, and Chassis repairs to meet the demand to assist DCLI Operation
Accountable for overall P&L responsibilities for the Facility
Accountable for M&R production metrics and quality repair standards are met
Develops and drives existing staff to enhance Engagement & Retention within the Terminal
Builds collaborative partnerships between repair needs and storage requirements of the operations team
Acts as key point of contact between DCLI’s logistics/Operations team members
Enforces and upholds all DCLI’s culture, safety regulations, and policies
Approaches violations with care and administers disciplinary actions when required
Monitors and approves terminal purchases for payment & manages purchases within budget
Approves weekly time & attendance and ensures data is accurate and timely
Partners with HR and Operations to ensure the Terminal is fully staffed to meet the demands
Owns the Training and Orientation process of all employees to ensure their ongoing success
Provides Terminal Metrics & Reports as needed
Other duties as assigned (administrative & non-administrative)
Facility general maintenance and safety operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred or related experience
5+ years leadership experience
Prior (5+ years) intermodal, transportation, logistics or warehousing experience
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Excellent communication skills are mandatory
Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products
Strong Work Ethic
Open availability to work weekends to oversee the facility if weekend work is demanded based on need
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
