Responsibilities
Lead and support requirements definition, decomposition, and allocation from aircraft level to system and item level
Develop and maintain functional and logical system architectures
Perform and support system safety assessments, including FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, and FMEA/FMES
Ensure full requirements traceability across all levels (DRO, SRO, SCD)
Plan, develop, and execute verification and validation (V&V) activities across the V-Model lifecycle
Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams during design, integration, and testing phases
Support FAA/EASA certification through documentation, audits, and technical reviews
Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and compliance audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field
9+ years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace or complex system environments
Strong hands-on experience with V-Diagram / V-Model processes
In-depth knowledge of ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254
Proven experience in requirements engineering, safety analysis, and V&V
Excellent analytical skills, technical documentation ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
Knowledge of system modeling tools (SysML/UML, Cameo, or equivalent)
Experience leading test planning and execution across multiple integration levels
Background in aircraft system design, development, and certification
