Confidential company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Finance and Accounting team in the Cincinnati Metro area. The role involves preparing financial reports, conducting data analysis, and managing financial systems while collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare periodic financial packages for external parties, including owners, lenders, ratings agencies, board of directors, and government agencies

Prepare monthly management reports and analyses for key stakeholders, such as CEO, CFO, and senior management

Provide decision makers with insightful analyses and reports on business drivers and company performance

Conduct complex data analysis on large datasets, including customer orders and shipment data, purchase history, and other relevant information

Serve as Administrator of EPM Tool (Planful)

Maintain and manage financial systems, including user management, data management, budget and forecast management, and process documentation for Planful

Create and maintain reports in Planful, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Train end users to increase adoption of Planful and empower them to use the system effectively

Continuously enhance Planful capabilities to improve analyses, reporting, and forecasting across the organization

Manage aspects of the budgeting and forecasting process, including data entry, analyses, systems maintenance, customer support, and ad-hoc requests

Collaborate across multiple divisions, and various levels of the organization, communicating effectively and appropriately

Create and distribute reporting out of new DataLake via Databricks/Tableau, to assist end users including Controllers, General Managers, and corporate Customers

Required

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

Strong interest in technology, systems, data, and analytics

Experience with an EMP/CPM tool

Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and present to large audiences

Self-driven with the ability to identify departmental/organizational needs and take action

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (lookups, pivot tables, charts, external data sources) and PowerPoint

Adaptability and a quick learning ability to venture into unfamiliar areas and acquire new skills
