Help Desk Technician
VTech Support, Inc. is a fast-paced Managed Service Provider with a family atmosphere. They are looking for a skilled Help Desk Technician responsible for ensuring clients' computer systems, networks, and equipment are operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities
Maintain appropriate certifications as required and outlined by leadership
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments
Install and configure software, and set up hardware
Perform backups
Perform disaster recovery operations
Maintain applications and/or virus protection measures
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software or other network issues
Assess security risks and ensure the security of networks and computer systems
Work with users via phone, email, and chat to solve problems or make adjustments and/or improvements
Keep detailed, accurate notes on work performed for internal auditing and client information
Qualification
Required
Local to Bakersfield
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required
Preferred
Experience as an IT Technician working at a Managed Service Provider
CompTIA, Microsoft and other industry certifications
Knowledge in networking configurations
Knowledge of Windows Operating systems and Microsoft applications
Familiarity with Apple products and OSX environment
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong customer service skills
