Responsibilities
Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation to support efficient production
Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and work centers within ERP/MRP systems
Partner closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot issues
Identify and implement process improvements focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency
Support new product introductions (NPI) through process development, documentation, validation, and operator training
Conduct time studies, process capability analysis, and performance data collection to drive manufacturing improvements
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for process and quality issues
Assist with the selection, procurement, installation, and validation of new equipment and tooling as required
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of manufacturing objectives
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar role within a manufacturing environment
(Internships and co-op experience will be considered)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and implement practical solutions. Experience supporting production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, including BOMs and routings
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools
Experience supporting new product introductions and process validation activities
