Responsibilities
Commission, start up, and tune control systems to meet customer specifications and job requirements
Install, configure, and test pre-engineered software for control systems OR: Install and troubleshoot pre-engineered software and hardware, checkout control systems, and start-ups and commission systems according to customer requirements and job specifications
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with efficiency and expertise
Manage scope of work from beginning to end
Coordinate with local project managers to understand scope, hardware, software, and graphics needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement solutions tailored to customer needs
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Perform open systems and 3rd party integrations and collaborate with other vendors of different protocols
Ensure that the configuration management policy is followed, which involves back-up of all changes on an ongoing basis during installation and final archiving of hardware and software on Server
Manage on-site equipment delivery and storage
Demonstrate system and conduct customer training for all functions
Support sales activities by presenting integrated/networked solutions and retrofit opportunities when warranted
Travel up to 70% in the assigned territories
Qualification
Required
Understanding of MSI (Integrations)
Understanding of Electrical Systems
Understanding of Mechanical Systems
Candidate must be based in Chicago or Des Plaines, IL and will travel up to 70% to customer sites
Preferred
Experience with Niagara 4 (Tridium) Framework
