Market Manager, Communications
PLP is seeking a Marketing Manager for Communications to enhance sales performance and marketplace presence for existing products and services. This role involves developing strategic plans, managing product launches, and maintaining strong customer relationships to identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
Lead initiatives to achieve consistent, long-term revenue growth by developing and executing strategic plans tailored to the unique dynamics of the U.S. market
Create and implement detailed marketing and product strategies that define the long-term vision, competitive positioning, and roadmap for the assigned market segment
Provide direction and oversight of product managers and product support personnel throughout the product development lifecycle and technical support of existing product lines ensuring alignment with key functional teams for successful execution
Manage the new product launch process, including customer standardization, pricing and promotional strategies, collateral development, field trials, and sales training coordination
Identify and pursue opportunities for industry partnerships that enhance market positioning; identify viable acquisition opportunities and present to executive leadership
Collaborate closely with customers and the sales network to identify new product opportunities
Maintain strong customer relationships to monitor market trends and uncover growth opportunities
Stay informed on industry developments, including technology, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes
Identify and implement strategies for margin improvement
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-informed decisions
Responsible for RFI, RFP and RFP activities
Actively participate in trade associations and technical societies; contribute through articles, white papers, and presentations
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, market management, and/or business development
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a high level of business development intelligence
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business or Engineering
