Responsibilities
Welcomes patients professionally, verifies identity, and manages all front-desk check‑in, check‑out, and scheduling functions
Performs clerical duties including phone management, Epic chart creation, scanning, faxing, and maintaining accurate electronic health records
Handles daily cash drawer balancing, supports workflow and Epic updates, and ensures proper use and upkeep of clinic equipment
Maintains a safe, clean reception area while adhering to confidentiality, infection control, and organizational safety policies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing
Excellent customer service skills are essential for interacting with patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this role
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure
Adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure
Preferred
One year of applicable medical office experience
