Responsibilities
Schematic design based upon TPS and feedback to board design group concerning component placement
Supply product specification to manufacturing and supply feedback during product initial release
Product sustaining during product lifecycle
Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies and develops recommendations accordingly
Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner
Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements
Stay up to date on company products and project goals- identify hidden barriers and opportunities
Confers with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
1-2 years of related experience
Ability to review and advise on PCB design and layout
Basis knowledge of 'C' programming language
Understanding of networking: Ethernet, Fiber, PCI based designs
