Responsibilities

Be the site expert on heat transfer and stress analysis

Coordinate, oversee, and perform the analysis of gas turbine components, sub-systems, and systems

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams through precise instructions, specifications, and reports

Mentor other engineers to adopt best practices and techniques

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials, or a related discipline

10+ years of experience with gas turbine design and analysis

10+ years experience with stress and thermal analysis

ANSYS Workbench required and SC03 is preferred

Experience modeling temperature-dependent material properties, thermal expansion, plasticity, creep, and thermal fatigue for high-temperature metals, alloys, and insulation materials

Scripting and automation skills for parametric studies, optimization / DOE, batch runs, and post-processing workflows

Familiarity with HPC / parallel computing and job scheduling to run large models efficiently

Ability to work cross functionally with design, manufacturing, and operations teams

Willingness to travel up to 10%
