Responsibilities

Participates in the full software development lifecycle—researching, designing, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing solutions
Provides technical leadership by overseeing integration projects, optimizing database performance, managing data interfaces between applications, and ensuring system interoperability across platforms

Required

Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus three (3) years related full-time paid experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven (7) years
Applicants for this position will be subject to a criminal background check after a conditional offer of employment has been extended, but before employment can be confirmed
In accordance with Texas Executive Order GA-48 and applicable state or federal law, this position may involve access to, work on, or conduct research involving critical infrastructure
It will require background checks, including, but not limited to, criminal history and other security-related screenings
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these checks

Preferred

Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, database design, and performance tuning)
Experience developing APIs (REST, SOAP) and integrating with third-party systems
Knowledge of/familiarity with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing principles
Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with .NET technologies, C#, or similar programming languages
Proficiency with MS SQL queries
Proficiency with CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete)
