Responsibilities

Defend employer clients in single‑plaintiff employment matters (court & arbitration)
Investigate claims, analyze liability/damages, and develop case strategy
Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, letters, and memos
Prepare and respond to discovery; take and defend depositions
Handle court appearances, mediation, hearings, and trials/arbitration
Collaborate closely with partners, associates, clients, and opposing counsel
Maintain 1850 billable hours

Required

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Active California Bar in good standing
3+ years of employment litigation experience
Excellent writer with attention to detail
Strong communicator; confident in court and depositions
Team-oriented, organized, responsive, and self-driven
Familiarity with state & federal procedures; trial experience a plus
