Responsibilities
Develop and write original editorial content, including:
One-on-one expert interviews (print, digital, and video-based)
Create outlines and summarized roundtable discussions
Conference coverage and expert commentary
Conduct interviews with dermatologists, NPs, PAs, and industry experts
Shape raw interview and roundtable transcripts into polished, engaging editorial
Edit and proof content for accuracy, clarity, tone, and consistency
Manage article flow, deadlines, and production schedules
Coordinate with contributors and faculty to keep projects moving efficiently
Support peer-review and medical review workflows for JDNPPA content
Collaborate closely with design, digital, video, and production teams
Content creation for supplements, special editorial initiatives, and custom programs
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in dermatology, medical, healthcare, or professional publishing
Strong writer who can translate complex clinical conversations into clear, engaging copy
Confident communicator comfortable interacting directly with clinicians
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred
Experience with peer-reviewed or medically reviewed content
Dermatology or specialty medical experience
