Provide direct hands-on supervision for the HCT I's while working directly with residents

Provide training through modeling, observation, and feedback

Implement residents’ plans through direct resident service provision and through the coordination of the efforts of the HCT I staff for whom they provide direct supervision

Required

High school or General Educational Development diploma and one year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation

Listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (as applicable)

North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (as applicable)

Preferred

Documented experience working with individuals with disabilities

Computer skills

CPR certification

Knowledge of person centered planning

Supervisory experience in a large residential facility

Van driver's license

Two years of closely related work experience

Documented experience in providing daily living activities and carrying out goal programs such as personal care in areas such as bathing, dressing, tooth brushing, feeding, changing attends on adults, communication and behavior modification
