Information Technology Support Specialist

The role involves troubleshooting and supporting various technologies used within the organization, ensuring reliable operations and assisting with onboarding new hires.

Responsibilities

Support and troubleshoot computers, laptops, phones, and software used across the organization
Set up computers and technology for new hires and provide a brief orientation during their first week
Perform day-to-day IT support and basic system administration tasks
Work with outside vendors and service providers to identify issues and restore service
Diagnose and resolve user-reported issues in a timely and professional manner
Respond to and manage incoming IT requests via phone and email
Track, document, and follow up on technical issues until resolution
Support user access and system permissions as new tools are adopted
Identify recurring issues and help document solutions and best practices

Required

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple requests

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic computer hardware
Familiarity with mobile devices and office phone systems
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
