Responsibilities
Market and place middle market commercial lines accounts with appropriate carriers
Serve as a subject matter expert on carrier appetites, coverage forms, and negotiation strategies
Collaborate closely with producers, especially those in the early stages of building their book of business
Provide mentorship and training to team members and producers on marketing best practices
Maintain and strengthen carrier relationships to ensure optimal placement outcomes
Contribute to strategic discussions and decisions, with potential to grow into a leadership role
Qualification
Required
Significant experience in marketing commercial lines middle market accounts
Strong knowledge of insurance coverage, forms, and carrier appetites
Michigan Property & Casualty License
Proven ability to negotiate effectively with carriers
Experience with Applied Epic AMS
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Leadership potential and a desire to contribute to the growth and development of the team
