Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership and direction in the delivery of support services by the Clinical Operations Division staff who provide nursing and other health-related patient care
Facilitate and sustain process improvement that assures operational effectiveness, clinical standardization, fiscal responsibility, customer satisfaction and ongoing clinical excellence
Provide direction, guidance and supervision to the Clinic Managers-RN
Support a collaborative working relationship between patient care services staff and practitioners, fostering staff satisfaction and resulting in a high level of care and service provided to GHC-SCW members
Lead major projects and process improvement initiatives, remaining ultimately accountable for outcomes
Receive direction and general supervision from the Chief Nursing Officer in support of GHC-SCW strategic goals
Demonstrate GHC-SCW’s Leadership AIMs – Accountability, Innovation, and Mentorship
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to corporate compliance initiatives
Ensure efficient use of staff resources and prepare and monitor department budgets and clinic productivity
Promote, support, and facilitate change initiatives and actively participate in quality projects
Participate in pertinent continuing education courses for self-development and demonstrate increasing decision-making and performance development
Interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization and in the community in a professional manner
Exhibit a positive, supportive demeanor while working on projects and collaborative initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business or related field required
Five (5) to seven (7) years progressive leadership experience in clinical practice setting required
Possession of a valid Wisconsin's driver's license
Certification or training in Continuous Improvement and/or Lean strategies
Demonstrate GHC-SCW's Leadership AIMs – Accountability, Innovation, and Mentorship
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Adhere to corporate compliance initiatives
Effectively communicate verbally, non-verbally and in written form
Ability to provide individual and small group problem-solving and guidance
Ability to be resourceful and flexible in emergent situations
Demonstrate good assessment skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret financial statements
Prepare and monitor department budgets and clinic productivity
Consider financial impacts (cost/benefit) in decision making
Ensure efficient use of staff resources
Accountability for monitoring and sustaining the professionalism, skill, and teamwork of the assigned Clinical Operations staff
Promote, support, and facilitate change initiatives
Actively participating in quality projects by initiating projects and supporting departmental leaders
Make decisions that continuously improve service to members
Participation in pertinent continuing education course for self-development
Willingness to review new trends and techniques/update knowledge base

Work closely with and communicate with other clinic staff to ensure timely and accurate clinic information is disseminated
Resolve interdepartmental concerns, questions, and issues as they arise

BSN preferred
Experience in similar size/type of organization (managed care) preferred
Experience in nursing and healthcare related Shared Governance preferred
Master's degree in Nursing or a relevant field is desired
