Responsibilities
Provide operational support for the Linux server environment
Perform system tuning to meet application-specific requirements
Standardize systems and implement automation where applicable
Maintain compliance with technology roadmaps, including OS, hardware, and third-party software upgrades
Manage incident tickets and ensure timely resolution
Perform regular security remediation and vulnerability management
Execute quarterly Red Hat patching to meet strict security and compliance requirements
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability
Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software
Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call support schedule
Create and maintain technical documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams
Research and evaluate new technologies to support business initiatives
Qualification
Required
10+ years of systems administration experience
strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
operational support for the Linux server environment
system tuning to meet application-specific requirements
standardize systems and implement automation where applicable
maintain compliance with technology roadmaps, including OS, hardware, and third-party software upgrades
manage incident tickets and ensure timely resolution

VMware operational knowledge
strong automation expertise
server migration experience
advanced troubleshooting skills
strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, network topology, and firewalled environments
