The Judge Group is looking for a User Experience Researcher to lead and participate in initiatives within Design Research & Strategy. The role involves planning and executing various research methods to gather user insights, translating findings into actionable recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user-centered design.

Responsibilities

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Design Research & Strategy and contribute to large-scale planning related to Digital Product Management functional area deliverables

Plan and execute various research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing and observational studies to gather qualitative and quantitative data about user needs and behaviors

Evaluate research findings to identify user pain points, motivations and preferences, translating these insights into actionable recommendations for product teams, design teams and business partners

Develop personas and journey maps based on research data to communicate user insights effectively across teams

Work closely with designers, product managers and developers to integrate user insights int the product lifecycle, ensuring that user needs are prioritized in design decisions

Share research result and recommendations with stakeholders through presentations and reports, fostering a user-centered culture across the organization

Required

5+ years of experience in the following: communications, human factors, information sciences, graphic, and visual arts demonstrated through work or military experience

5+ years of experience developing and executing UX research strategies through the use of various UX research tactics (e.g., developing personas, experience mapping, conducting contextual user research and UX measurement activities)

Large bank/financial services experience is a MUST
