Junior Desktop Support Technician
AspiringIT is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users in an onsite environment. The role involves troubleshooting hardware/software issues, imaging desktops, and ensuring smooth IT operations for business continuity.
Responsibilities
Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
Perform desktop imaging, configuration, and deployment for new and existing systems
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and asset inventory
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, desktop imaging tools, and basic networking
Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
