Korn Ferry is seeking a hands-on and strategic Director of Accounting to lead its accounting operations. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, general ledger management, internal controls, and audit coordination while working cross functionally with stakeholders to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the accounting team, overseeing general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Drive process improvement and automation across accounting workflows and systems

Partner with FP&A, operations, accounts payable, and leadership to support strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects

Oversee annual audit coordination and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors

Implement and maintain internal controls to support financial integrity and compliance

Provide financial insights and reporting to executive leadership and ownership

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA required)

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leadership roles

Proven ability to lead teams and drive change in fast-paced settings

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience with Accounts Payable, Payroll, or treasury a plus
