Responsibilities

Drive the development of next-generation generator performance and design solutions to meet future product needs

Interface with internal and external customers to resolve complex and sensitive technical issues

Collaborate seamlessly with global design teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Provide technical support to Service, Tendering, and cross-functional engineering teams

Continuously improve internal design processes, standards, and methodologies

Serve as a champion and role model for quality culture and technical leadership

Required

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

3+ years of electrical engineering experience, including hands-on work in electric rotating machine design

Proficiency in Python, FORTRAN, and C++

Experience using Ansys Electromagnetic Suite, Ansys EMAG, or similar simulation tools for electromagnetic analysis and machine design, including validation of evolving electromagnetic methods

Broad knowledge of generator components, including stator, rotor, and excitation systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
