Revenue Cycle Manager

They are seeking a Co-Revenue Cycle Manager to lead the business office and revenue cycle operations, ensuring accurate billing, claims, and collections while supervising front desk operations.

Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day revenue cycle workflows: billing, claim submission, payment posting, denials/appeals, and collections
Ensure timely, accurate submission of claims with complete supporting documentation
Lead denial management: track trends, identify root causes, file appeals, and implement prevention steps
Collate census information, ensure accurate reporting in the billing/census systems, and reconcile census daily for accuracy
Input and maintain complete resident financial information in PCC and related billing records (including required documentation)
Review billings generated by the home office and/or complete direct billing for select payers (including Medicaid, as applicable)
Serve as the primary driver for timely A/R collections across all payer sources; follow up with slow payers and escalate as needed
Coordinate with Medicare/Medicaid billing contacts and payers to resolve issues and accelerate payments
Maintain accurate resident trust account records and provide statements as needed
Support accounts payable workflows by coding/verifying invoices, ensuring approvals, and submitting for processing timely
Supervise and support front desk receptionists: scheduling coverage, customer service standards, communication flow, and consistent processes for visitors, calls, and administrative support
Train and coach business office staff as needed to drive accuracy, service quality, and accountability
Operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and the facility compliance program
Follow HIPAA privacy/security requirements and minimum necessary standards for protected health information
Qualification
Required
Experience in Revenue Cycle Management and/or Business Office Management (healthcare)
Strong knowledge of managed care, denials, payer rules, and A/R follow-up
Comfortable working in multiple systems (PCC, RFMS, ProviderOne, Inovalon)
Organized, analytical, and detail-driven with strong follow-through
Collaborative communication style with staff, residents, families, and payer partners
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
Accounting/bookkeeping coursework or long-term care business office experience strongly recommended
Understanding of medical billing/coding fundamentals (SNF/post-acute exposure strongly preferred)
