They are seeking a Real Estate Loan Consultant to originate real estate loans and guide members through the borrowing process while building strong referral relationships within the local real estate community.

Responsibilities

Guides member through the borrowing process. Interviews, takes applications, and processes preliminary documentation on loan requests. Discusses loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and loan documentation in such a manner as to elicit positive responses from members

Analyzes and evaluates loan requests and prepares written submission for consideration

Maintains communication with the member throughout the loan process to answer questions, handle requests and resolve problems

Performs follow-up work as necessary to achieve conditional approval within established time frames

Works with the real estate community to build trusted referral relationships, for the purpose of originating real estate loans

Informs members of HCU loan policies and services

Counsels members regarding money management and financial matters. Counsels members whose loan requests were denied, explaining reasons and alternatives

Maintains and projects HCU's professional reputation

Keeps members properly informed of HCU loan policies and services

Provides superior service to our members

Pro-actively supports and advances HCU's brand and culture

Performs all other duties as assigned
