The Senior Millwright will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing breakdown recovery work on plant equipment to ensure smooth operations in the facility.

Responsibilities
Install, align, and dismantle machinery and equipment in accordance to specifications
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors and motors
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
Collaborate with engineers and other trades to ensure seamless operations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment,5-S, and adhering safety protocols
Organize, inventory and put-away all maintenance consumables
Label inventory racks and storage areas as agreed for easy identification
Maintaining accurate inventory records via Kan Ban Cards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as Journeyman Millwright and Welder
Experience in environments such as mining, quarry, steel smelter, scrap yard
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
2 years of experience creating process improvements or continuous improvement initiatives
Skilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (mig, tig or stick)
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in industrial environments
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
Comfortable using CMMS and basic software
Knowledge of electrical testing tools and mechanical systems
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Physical stamina to handle heavy machinery
