This role involves providing technical support to forestry staff, collecting GPS field data, and assisting with various forestry projects aimed at conserving natural resources.

Prepare maps based on data collected
Record and enter data for processing
Assist with deer fence construction and maintenance
Assist with tree planting
Assist with timber marking
Assist with herbicide application
Assist with wildlife habitat management
Engage in forest fire prevention, pre-suppression, and suppression activities
Qualification
Required
An associate's degree in forest technology; or
Completion of equivalent formal education in forestry
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 6 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent
You must be able to perform essential job functions
