Green Key Resources is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller, VP – Finance to report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role will be instrumental in enhancing statutory accounting and reporting infrastructure and overseeing investment accounting while supporting daily Life and Annuity reinsurance accounting operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with accounting and reporting for reinsurance customers, including GAAP and statutory (STAT) reporting

Support and enhance statutory investment accounting processes

Lead forecasting and projection efforts related to new business opportunities

Apply expertise in insurance invested assets, including fixed income and other investment types

Utilize strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and NAIC guidelines to support the structuring of reinsurance transactions

Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements, including footnotes, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, STAT-to-GAAP reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive business objectives and promote best practices

Collaborate closely with investment management teams on investment analysis, forecasts, budgets, and ad hoc requests

Assist with the review of financial and actuarial models

Support additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve
