Responsibilities
Own the engineering organisation end-to-end, including hiring, management, and scaling the team
Write and ship production code daily; this is a hands-on role, not pure management
Set and drive engineering objectives, delivering high-quality work on tight timelines
Make critical architecture decisions across the stack: Go, Rust, TypeScript, Next.js, React Native
Partner directly with founders to translate product vision into technical roadmap and execution
Establish engineering processes, standards, and practices that enable fast, high-quality shipping
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, ideally leading an engineering function
Demonstrable track record shipping production software
Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language
Comfortable using AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor) as part of daily development workflows
Strong interest in or curiosity about crypto and Web3
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with Solana (Rust), Go, Postgres, AWS, Cloudflare Workers, and React Native is a plus
