Income Auditor - FT
Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking an Income Auditor to perform daily property revenue audits and related revenue reporting for management. The role involves maintaining records associated with audits, communicating variances, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.

Responsibilities
Perform daily gaming, non-gaming, and promotional audits
Record daily journal entries into the general ledger
Communicate both written and orally with affiliated departments on variances, statistics and exceptions to policy and procedures
Maintain all records associated with the gaming and non-gaming audits
Perform, file, and pay required liability for the tax audits (W2G, 1042-S, 1099)
Reconcile applicable transactions between operating systems
Review and analyze patron ratings for reasonableness, while monitoring ratings and transactions for anomalies
Audit discretionary, business expenses, and non-gaming complimentary for compliance to internal controls
Receive in, issue, and audit inventory-controlled forms
Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times
Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
Attend all necessary meetings

Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
High school diploma or equivalent required
One (1) year of Finance related experience required
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier
Must pass a basic excel test
Must have proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Must possess excellent communication skills
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to write, type and use a 10-key for a minimum of seven (7) hours per day
Must be able to effectively understand and communicate to candidates and employees
Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations
