In this role, you will analyze operational data, identify issues impacting patient care, and lead cross-functional teams through issue resolution while managing action plans and providing clear reporting to leaders.

Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional work groups across clinical, operational, quality, compliance, and administrative teams to resolve operational issues
Facilitate issue identification, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and action planning
Plan, coordinate, and track tasks, milestones, and deliverables tied to issue resolution
Analyze healthcare operational, performance, and quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Maintain detailed issue logs, documentation, and action plans
Develop and deliver clear dashboards, status updates, and reports for frontline, management, and executive leaders
Provide non-technical business/process insight and support minor initiatives related to operational improvement
Support healthcare operations in a complex, regulated environment (Medicare Advantage, CMS guidelines, etc.)
Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and analysis
Qualification
Required
Experience with Medicare Advantage
Strong analytical skills
Experience in health plan operations
Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
Proven experience analyzing operational, quality, or performance data in healthcare
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including executive-level presentations)
Strong organizational and time-management abilities; able to manage multiple issues at once
Experience using issue tracking and action-planning tools
Ability to work effectively in a regulated, ambiguous healthcare environment
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years as a healthcare Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role
Preferred
Experience with healthcare regulatory/accreditation frameworks (CMS, Joint Commission, federal/state guidelines)
Performance improvement or root cause analysis experience
Basic project coordination experience
Experience preparing dashboards, summaries, and executive-level presentations
Background in hospitals, health systems, payer organizations, or large healthcare networks
