Director, Strategy

Responsibilities
Develop brand strategies, write creative briefs, lead development and presentation of creative platforms and campaigns, and help lead clients and local agency partners around the world
Bring proactive thinking and ideas to clients to push brands into new spaces
Design and implementation of quick turn, budget-efficient research projects to address client business issues, gain insight into target audiences and/or test concepts
Manage and direct a team of Senior Strategists, Strategists, Associate Strategists, and interns who are assigned to the Strategy Director’s accounts
Provide professional development opportunities and on-the-job training as needed
Qualification
Required
7+ years of planning/brand strategy experience
Managerial experience
Ability to run day-to-day account work & pitches
A strong creative instinct and intuitive creative approach to solving business problems
Contributes thought leadership and best practices to the department
Comfortable with high-level client exposure; must be able to lead conversations with senior marketing executives without a hitch
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to understand and work within complex global organization, with multiple marketing budgets and stakeholders across various business units and geographies
Ability to balance clients' long-term branding initiatives with short-term sales goals to develop campaigns that work across time horizons and meet the needs of various stakeholders
Preferred
CPG & Beauty experience strongly preferred
